AGENT ELF
Describing the Agent Elf sound is difficult. They take the heavy/soft dichotomy of Mogwai, park it up alongside some QOTSA-style riffage, sprinkle it with some 65daysofstatic/Boards Of Canada electronic garnish, and then go off on one with it, incorporating anything from gabber to Arabic folk music to dubstep to trip hop. Pigeonholing the Agent Elf sound is a challenge, and that’s exactly how they want it.
